Candelaria Industries is evaluating the redevelopment of the former McKinley paper mill in Port Angeles as a diversified industrial campus, building on the property's existing infrastructure and working-waterfront heritage.
Our proposed initial phase would install three compact modular computing pods within an existing industrial building, generating working revenue to support site rehabilitation and future industrial opportunities.

Current Project Status
Candelaria Industries is evaluating the acquisition of the former McKinley mill property at 1902 Marine Drive, subject to completion of due diligence and other applicable requirements.
On October 20, 2026, Candelaria presented a preliminary phased redevelopment concept to the Port Angeles City Council.
The proposed initial phase includes three containerized computing modules within an existing industrial building, supported by a request for 9.9 average megawatts of electrical service.
No redevelopment proposal or electrical-service agreement was approved at the October 20 informational meeting.
Future development remains subject to applicable reviews, permits, and approvals.
